Efficient Client Communication: The Go-To Air Compressor Selection Tips
Clients frequently come with varied requirements, and we always aim to supply them with air compressors at the most competitive prices.
Today, we’ll focus solely on oil-free air compressors under 37 kW, covering water-injected screw, dry scroll, and dry rotary gear types.
Here are the core distinguishing features of these three air compressor variants.

The water-injected screw compressor supports 24/7 continuous operation, but it cannot generate sterile air. Its price is roughly on par with dry scroll models.
In contrast, the dry scroll compressor is not designed for nonstop running. It requires cycles of tens of minutes of operation followed by tens of minutes of downtime for cooling.
On the bright side, it can produce sterile air, and its price is similar to that of the water-injected screw type.
Then there’s the rotary gear (also called rotary tooth) compressor—it not only allows 24/7 nonstop operation but also delivers sterile air.
However, its cost is around twice that of the dry scroll compressor.
